From one point out in many different ways.

4. Mathematics. Failing to approach a limit; not convergent.

Convergent Research
From many directions at once towards the same point.

After my previouse post that briefly explains how I research and develop my work, I definatly think that I work from one point, out into many different directions... using divergent research.
