Before I begin...

Before I start to research my final major project I am going to step back and analyse my process of research and development used in my previous projects. When I work on a brief I don't really notice my process of thinking during the stages of development. This is a chance to highlight and realise the way that I prefer to work and develop a final outcome.

I tend to be the sort of person that likes to get stuck in with work straight away. I jump straight onto the computer and don't really use a pen and paper unless completely necessary.
I come up with an initial idea and then over the duration of the project I will constantly change and develop it into a piece I am happy with. My final piece will eventually turn out to be completely different to my initial idea that I started with. This has continued to be the best way for me to work.

This process was evident in my last project. I had to turn MTV into an experience other than just a broadcaster and continue to pioneer music and music culture. My initial idea was to turn MTV into a roller disco ('MTV Roll') but throughout the project this turned into an entire world similar to an amusement park ('MTV World').
